Luiz Ricardo received his LL.B. degree from the São Paulo Law School of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2009) and his LL.M. degree from Columbia Law School in the City of New York, with a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar mention of honor (2014).
Before joining Faleck & Associados, Luiz Ricardo worked as a lawyer in partnership and contractual disputes, M&A and government relations (2014-2017). He served as Chief of Staff and Legal Adviser at the Federal House of Representatives and as a member of the São Paulo City Council (2009-2013).
Luiz Ricardo also served in the office of Manager of Legislative Acts for the State of Espírito Santo, with the role of reviewing and drafting all legislative documents and handling institutional relationships and negotiations with the heads of State departments, government authorities, members of organized civil society and other private groups.
Luiz Ricardo joined Faleck & Associados on October, 2016, and has been working as a negotiator, mediator and facilitator in business disputes. He has been acting as head of project for compensation programs with the use of facilitation and mediation, stemming from major national tragedies and complex situations. He has conducted hundreds of mediations/facilitations and coordinated mediation/facilitation teams.
