Gabriel Ribeiro received his LL.B. degree from the São Paulo Law School of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2011) and is currently a MD Candidate at NOVA School of Law in Lisbon (PT) (2022). Gabriel has worked in American law firms based in Brazil focused on capital market (Sherman & Sterling and Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP), in one of the largest private Brazilian banks (Itaú Unibanco Holding) and as in-house lawyer for private companies (GranBio, GranInvestimentos and Fundo de Investimento Virtuose).
Gabriel is certified by the Brazilian National Council of Justice (CNJ) to serve as mediator before Brazilian Courts. He is also certified by the International Mediation Institute (IMI) – Qualifying Accessing Program Level 1.
Gabriel joined Faleck & Associados on October, 2016, and has been working as a negotiator, mediator and facilitator in business and labor disputes. He has been acting as head of project for compensation programs with the use of facilitation and mediation, stemming from major national tragedies and complex situations. He has conducted hundreds of mediations/facilitations and coordinated mediation/facilitation teams.
